Re: Sirius XM NFL Training Camp Tour
Steve Bisciotti:
About Harbaugh: built business around people, character over competence. John is a man of character. Didn't want a retread.
How do you get over the big losses: I go on the wagon for 30 days. Look forward to future players.
How did the hands off method happen: business was about growing leaders and transferred that to the Ravens. He argues his points behind closed doors, not in public.
How do you handle recent challenges? A bit bitter about the attacks. Tried to do the right thing. You have to know going into it that it can get rough. Ray Rice deserves a second chance.
In 2015? : Don't need to prove themselves.
About Ozzie: Best in business.
Steve has a feeling this will be a SB winning year.

Re: Sirius XM NFL Training Camp Tour
John Harbaugh:
Post season last year: Do you replay the moments from last year? Absolutely. Was it that formation? (Laughing) Notice that's been changed since.
Principles are written in stone, methods are not. Ongoing team effort, leadership. Leaders build more leaders. Tradition and history going back to Art's Browns.
Challenge of new coordinators: We're getting pretty good at it (laughing). Everyone we brought in has been good to start with.
How do you probe the person to know they are a Raven? Look at the person (character). Willing to become a part of our team. How they are willing to grow & learn. Gary Kubiak left late in the game, made replacing him hard. Loves Tresstman.
What was message to team re Ray Rice: We will stand beside and behind each other, we are a team. We stand for principle.
Updates - Tight ends: Big babies, looking to see what they will become. Crocket is getting better, Max has super hands and looks great on 3rd down, Boyles has a mean streak (blocker)
Desire for tall corners: want guys who aren't afraid to cover, need high energy guys. Want to challenge routes. Big corners with ball skills trump speed.
What is the #1 thing you look for in new players?: Does he play like a Raven? What is his character?
Special teams, formations, extra point changes?: Refs better start thinking about what the ramifications of these changes.
Second year guys: Taliaferro looks quicker, Lewis Moore looking good. Freshman & sophmore players are the heart & soul of the team.
On Steve Smith retiring: Approves of announcing early
Be the best you, whoever you are. We are out in front of most societal issues and we handle them the best we can.

Re: Sirius XM NFL Training Camp Tour
Jimmy Smith:
How does the team look?: Kinda hard to see what the team looks like in training camp, but it looks good so far.
Definitely sized up on corners.
Trying to get back to form for this year; staying in training room, prevent re-injury.
Where do you put your career? I want to be the best; stay on the field.
Rehabbing not training makes it hard. Still wants more work to get 100%
Good words about Kamar Aiken
(End INTV)
CJ Mosley -
What is it like with Ngata? Definitely different, but we're building chemistry.
How was off season? Good, rehabbing.
Has spoken a few times with Ray Lewis and has been given advice.
Leadership? Growing.
Gilmour & Williams - both are doing well.
Alabama guys? Coach Saban builds guys the Ravens need and want.
(End INTV)

Re: Sirius XM NFL Training Camp Tour
During Flacco's interview, when asked whether he'd be in Shotgun more this season he mentioned that there were times last year when teams pressured up the "A" gap effectively and how being in Shotgun would have been a lot more helpful.
I have to assume one of those times was the Houston game where it seemed like Kubiak was reluctant to move Joe from under center despite the Texans destroying the interior line all game long.

Re: Sirius XM NFL Training Camp Tour
I read somewhere that Trestman said Joe will be under Center and not in Shotgun this season. I'm sure they will use it some, but most likely as much, if not less than last season.
