Damn shame to see him go, but wish him the best. Supposedly the deal is in the 40 mil range.

Seems like the good teams draft these guys and the bad teams sign them once the initial contract expires. (Kruger, Ellerbe, etc)

He, Lamarr Houston, Willie Young, Shea McClellin(?) are a good unit. Should they go with Danny Shelton their line could be dangerous.

Wow, I would never have paid that much for McPhee. Solid player but not worth 40 million.

Yes I believe he got overpaid, but Pernell hits like a Mack truck and gives max effort. I'll miss watching him on Sunday.

I don't think it will be as high as a 3rd, but a 4th sounds about right.

his deal is basically the same as Krugers deal 2 years ago but McPhee gets 3 mill more in guaranteed money

didnt we get a 3rd round compensatory pick for Kruger?

depending on what Torreys deal looks like(rumored to be worth 9 mill per) we could be getting two 3rd round compensatory picks next year

I'm positive the Ravens could have re-signed McPhee for 5/$20 last offseason. This one hurts. Let's hope Sizzle and Doom can play a full healthy season in 2015.

OLB has to be a major priority in the upcoming draft.

Random question...do you only get comp picks for UFAs lost in free agency who you draft? I seem to recall getting a comp pick for Redding 3 offseasons ago.
