"If they see you making decisions only in economic terms, they start to understand that and question what you're all about," he said. "There's a huge intangible value in peace. There's a huge intangible value in allies."
I thought it should have its own for now.
Not bad for a RUNNING BACK!!! Now that is funny.

Well, if goodell works for kraft, don't expect a harsh punishment then. SMH

Not surprisingly as in every walk of life the men with the most money control everything. These are no doubt the golden years of the NFL where they are by far the most popular sport with a Championship Game that is an unofficial national holiday. But as they say "all good things must end". Will Goodell help end the NFL's reign prematurely or will he help to extend it? The owners need to think long and hard about this. Problem is when the money is rolling in they won't care to think that far ahead.

Maybe Kraft is coming off the way is he because he has already talked to Goodell and knows there won't be any type of singled out punishment or any real evidence to show that anyone was involved other than the fall guy.

Re: TAGS rips Greedell!!!
Maybe this is too simplistic, but why not do away with different psi for each QB wants and make them all the same by league standards. What other sport in america using a ball has a different ball for each team. Not on lacrosse, not in baseball, not basketball, soccer. The only exception I can think of is golf. And even there the ball is the same standard for all, the only difference is the manufacturer. All the league has to do if they wish to even the playlng field is standardize the psi in the ball, don't let the teams near them by having the refs. bring them. Why should there be adifferrence? Maybe I am missing something but when I played football ( a long time ago ) we never had a different ball for each team and the refs didn't put a towel over the ball if it was raining. Both teams played with what we had, mud, snow, etc. Can't see how this would hurt the game. Tell me how I am wrong.

Re: TAGS rips Greedell!!!
Gabe, that thought of both teams using the same footballs crossed my mind as well the other day. Seems like a simple, easy, "fair" solution ---
that the Brady's and suits of the league willl never adopt...
