Good stuff. Interesting to hear that about Deon Long.

Austin Hill is a Demaryius/Dez sized guy.
Not in same tier performance-wise, however.

Blake Bell looks the part at tight end in drills. Now needs to carry it over into production.

    Indirectly related...

Good to hear that from Senior, but he said the same shit last year before the season started.

The problem is will the Ravens reduce his workload or will they continue to have him be an every down guy.

    From day 2:

    Brugler:
Texas State defensive back Craig Mager has been one of the more impressive defensive prospects through two practices on the East team. He has very good read/react quickness to see the play develop and drive on the ball to arrive simultaneously. Mager also received praise from the coaches for his effort and intelligence on specials teams, which will likely be his initial role in the NFL.

Tye Smith/CB/Towson showing a lot of skill. Quick with good fundamentals; pedal, turn, transition. Like him

Terrific performance from Da'Ron Brown/WR/NIU today.

Athletically Wes Saxton/TE/S Alabama is very impressive but he's dropping to many catchable throws.

Devin Gardner/WR making some nice plays in the early going.

Deon Long/Maryland looking like the best receiver this morning at Shrine practice.

    More Pauline:
    - The general consensus from scouts at the Shrine Game is Maryland receiver Stefon Diggs made a big mistake entering the draft, an opinion I concur with. Most grade Diggs as a last day pick and feel another season on the college field would’ve potentially pushed him into the draft’s initial 75 selections.

If the combine didn't exist, I'd definitely agree with Pauline on Diggs but he's probably going to get in there and run a low 4.4 40 and wow some scouts with his pure athletic ability. Once he gets to the combine he's going to boost his stock a lot.

I agree. Especially if he comes in at 6' and close to 200lbs.

I think this is the case of scouts wanting something to happen, in this case Diggs staying in school, not getting it, and then pouting. When the FOs of the teams take a look at Diggs they won't care too much about why the kid should be doing and will focus on what he can do. And probably he would go higher in the draft if he waited a year. Probably. But that's not enough of a reason to play another year for free and postponing that second contract.

Very true. On most teams, at worst, Diggs is a return specialist and maybe a 4th or 5th WR option.

I think he is a little better than some are suggesting. He's played well against top competition and let's be real here...Maryland hasn't had a good QB in several years. Certainly not while Diggs and Deon Long were there.

Yeah. So one scenario for the Ravens is to resign Torrey, cut Jacoby, not draft a WR early, and draft Diggs somewhere in rounds 3-5 and let him develop into possibly SSS's successor in a year or two?

I wouldn't be opposed to that.

Tre McBride proving he is a legitimate deep threat. CBs can't stay with him down field.

Receiver standouts during cover drill at #shrinegame clearly Tre' McBride and Darren Waller. The latter showing more speed in the open.
    GT's Darren Waller is 6'5-6'6.
    Possible TE in NFL.
