Re: OT - Wicked's Way Too Early Mock, Version 2 [Four rounds]

Bump now that our season is over.

Draft positions will change from this. Ravens are now picking at 26.

I'm sure you meant Alex Carter, the CB from Stanford.

I agree that he is pro ready.

Big arm, big guy, mobile, above avg accuracy, doesn't get rattled, doesn't make a lot of mistakes with the ball. There is a lot to like there for sure.
It's pretty funny that a guy so smart on the field can be so dumb off of it. He can look off safeties, manipulate defenses, and he is very smart with the ball.

If you put Mariota's off the field personality with Winston's on the field play, you'd have a damn good QB.

With the season over can we expect draftcentric threads to stay on the main page?

For RB's what about Jay Ajayi? 6'0 215 and everything I've read so far says he's explosive, great vision and possesses home run speed. Combined that 50 catches and he could be a lethal combo with Taliaferro and Forsett (I'm assuming Forsett comes back).

I think so. No reason why not...we are officially in the offseason.
Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

The only problems with Ajayi are not only ball security issues (though they might be overstated) but when he has a two way go between inside and outside the tackles he has an unnerving tendency to bounce it outside. That could be problematic in our scheme. However he is a fantastic athlete. Inhuman balance.
