    Nope. They're staying put.

Poor people don't live there. It's a city of the Uber rich now. The poor outside the city in Oakland or just south in Daly City. It's become such a disconnected city they'll simply raise prices and feel like they've accomplished something for the poor.

Why would the Mayor be on TV? She's unpopular as well and not running for anything.
I think the question is "where were they during Brown's concession speech?" Many of the members of the House were there. ZERO'Malley is trying to distance himself from this debacle to keep his national aspirations (LOL!) alive. ZERO'Malley only won here because of the massive Dem advantage he had.

Again, why would he be there? He's the outgoing Governor. Tempest in a tea pot.

And of course he won because he had a massive Dem advantage. Dems out number GOPers 2-1 in Maryland. That's not some sort of odd phenomenon.

Truly hoping for something to get better in Md, let's see what these election winners accomplish in 2 years before the presidential elections. If the Repubs are riding a wave of resentment against Obama, next democrat to run for potus will have an uphill battle and will lose. Hoping for more jobs and work, but I'll believe it when I see it.

Uh, all of the local news folks who are at these things regularly were wondering why he missed it. Do you think he doesn't show if Brown wins? The guy is a narcissist ahole.

Sure, but he won't have that advantage outside of MD and there is no way he goes anywhere nationally.
