Torrey May Be The Most Disappointing Raven This Year.
Drops far too many passes...dogs it when the ball isn't coming to him...can't get separation consistently...
I don't think he is worth the money he is going to want next year.Disclaimer: The content posted is of my own opinion.

Agreed. He isn't worth resigning if it costs us Jimmy Smith.
90 year old Steve Smith looks 100x better.

Shame...I REALLY like him.
But if he's looking for more than maybe $6 million per...I wouldn't do it.
Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HDAlthough Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

I knew that it would be a process for Torrey Smith in this offense. He isn't used to running these routes consistently and he isn't used to reading defenses in short range passes easily. However, I did not expect the start to be this rough.

Matt elam has been worse. At least torrey has gotten a couple big PI calls plus he was open for a big gain on the interception.

Re: Torrey May Be The Most Disappointing Raven This Year.
I was ENRAGED to watch him dog it running downfield when he thought the ball wasn't coming to him.
This is a guy who is supposed to be a "high character/young leader" type. Other guys see that and instantly understand that this kid doesn't really care that much. Not to mention that he can't catch the football or get open.
I don't just think he shouldn't be re-signed, I think he ought to ride the pine for a game or two. Jacoby Jones is as fast or faster and can sub in when we need a deep threat. Otherwise, Marlon Brown runs better routes, has better hands, and produces in the red zone--he should be the starter opposite Steve Smith Sr.
Speaking of Smith Sr., let me be the first to say he's made me eat my words after the offseason and a bad first game. Dude still has it in a huge way.

A contract we'll save money on, not resigning him. Give it to someone else. He's a one trick pony.

Steve Smith SR. gets it. Joe is in trouble and he is doing anything to get open. Watching a few plays where the shot shows WR's just playing in the flower patch is just plain frustrating.
Not bad for a RUNNING BACK!!! Now that is funny.
