Ha! Thank goodness he has matured and has a little left in the tank. He really does tell young guys not to do the stupid things he has done. I was really nervous when we picked him up, but he isn't all bad.

I hope Ray Rice comes back and has success and can help someone else with "what NOT to do" stories soon.

Since you are from Cincy, may not be aware that the Adam Jones in the title had some of us thinking of Adam LaMarque Jones, the Orioles center fielder, winner of a golden glove on D and silver slugger on O awards last year.

But that aside, yes it is nice to see someone mature when they can still be productive in their skills.
And appreciate the Rice sentiment .... needs time to pass before people are ready to let him re-emerge, but I also really hope he comes out as a strong help for others with his story.

Good thing he learned before it was too late. He's dead on. If I was one of these young NFL players, I'd be doing nothing but working out, studying and banking cash.

That last part is critical to tell these young kids; don't spend it all because you never know when it's going to stop coming in.
