What a complete waste of money. Can't believe we have 3 and a half more years of that crap.

Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

Well, Os ran into a brick wall in Cleveland. They always were a nemesis. We're still in first and by 7.5 games over the hated Yanks.

    Yankees SUCK.

Make that 8 1/2 now the Yanks lost last night and the Blue Jays too. Another good pitcher the line up beat and another strong outing from the SP.

This team's ability to snap back after tough losses has been one of the many keys to their success this year. Keep it up O's!

    O's clinch

13.5 game lead with 11 to play.

Yes, and I'm looking forward to attending home playoff games. Anticipating the schedule so I can plan my schedule "around" the O's this year.
    Go O's and go Ravens!

Looking forward next week to seeing Orioles eliminate Yanks from wild card contention.

Good possibility the Yankees are already done by then.

For all intents-and-purposes, they are done now. They are tied with Toronto, 6 games back of the final WC spot. Even if they get ahead of Toronto, they would have to overcome 3 other teams (one of OAK, SEA, KC, DET, & CLE) to secure a spot...no way they can do that with 11 games left.

They can now turn all of their attention to bidding Jeter adieu.
