    Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

    Great news for the Ravens. I assume we're going to see at least three years with options for two more similar to Ray's final contract. It'll average out between 5-8 million depending on how much guaranteed money he gets. My guess is 4 years, $7.5 per year, with a nice signing bonus spread out between this year and next. $7 million bonus, maybe?

    Obviously these are all guesses.
