Name a FA/Cap Casualty that Kubiak will want to bring in

    Eric Winston? Owen Daniels?

Daniels and Pitta are pretty much the same player aren't they?

I would think Eric Winston would be a pretty decent option for a stopgap at RT (along with Wagner and perhaps a draft pick).

My guess would be C but Chris Myers still has 2 yrs on his deal.... would be sweet if the C has familiarity with the playbook blocking

Does anyone know the situation that took place with Ravens RB Cierre Wood, formerly of the Texans? Something about him smoking pot before a game?

I wonder how Kubiak will receive Wood? Wait, that didn't sound right...

Do you think Kubiak is good with Wood? Alright, you know what I'm trying to say....lol.

Great point. I'm sure Kubiak will be watching A LOT of college tape on Ryan Jensen, though. He may envision him as his new star pupil.

This will be Jensen's reaction when Kubiak tells him, he's our starting center, next season:

While Pierce is a great natural fit for Kubiaks scheme, Cierre Woods is also a very good fit. Cierre Woods is an upright, tall, strong runner than can and cut pretty quickly, he can also run inside and pick up the tough yards. Cierre Woods reminds me a lot of Ryan Grant, they are almost identical players. Not saying Cierre Woods is going to be as good as Ryan Grant was in his prime, but he's almost a clone of him as a RB. Bernard Pierce is more Arian Foster.

The way Kubiak spoke yesterday, sounds like they expect him to be back this year, either on the tag or a new deal. To me, that might preclude getting Daniels in as well.

Winston could absolutely be a guy we'd bring in, we scheduled him for a visit in 2012 I think but he never got here.

Whomever Ozzie decides will be a good fit at the proper cap friendly value.

    In ozzie we trust...

I think Winston makes a ton of sense. I see him as RP,RP.

Andre Johnsons obviously the big name FA. Im not sure what the market will be for him. Hes still getting it done at a high level but hes also not a spring chicken anymore. 33 by season beginning. I cant see him getting to rich of a deal. I dont think hed be typical Ozzie move but then again he did say he wants a WR thats going to make the important catch.

btw, AJ is not a free agent...

    http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...der-a-pay-cut/

He's under contract for 2014, 2015, and 2016. But, the article predicts at some point, they have to make a difficult decision with him. Scheduled to count 12.1 mil against the cap this year. Eek

I'd love to have Andre Johnson, but I don't see it.

I think re-signing Jacoby Jones is a lot more plausible.
