Re: Who Will the Ravens Hire to be OC?
Another thing that bears mentioning...in addition to an OC, I really think we need a true QB coach as well. If Jim Zorn isn't up to anything, why not bring him back? But if you look over the body of Flacco's work, he's done his best when he has a true QB coach in addition to the OC.

“When I think of a Baltimore Raven - we go in there, we take your lunch box, we take your sandwich, we take your juice box, we take your applesauce, and we take your spork and we break it. And we leave you with an empty lunch. That’s the Baltimore Raven way.” - Steve Smith Sr.
Call me a Special Teams coach again. I dare you! I double dare you, MFer!

Let me put it this way...
If the Lions hire Caldwell as HC and he takes Hostler to be OC...I'm hosting EVERYBODY for open bar happy hour in OCMD.

Re: Who Will the Ravens Hire to be OC?
Per Hoster's Wikipedia page:
As offensive coordinator for the 49ers, he was subject to much scrutiny and criticism regarding his playcalling. Among his most common criticisms was his inability to effectively use star running back Frank Gore, who led the National Football Conference (NFC) in rushing in 2006, but under Hostlers' play calling, was largely ineffective. Gore publicly criticized Hostler, saying the team did not trust his play calling.[3] Midway into the 2007 season, the 49ers' offense was ranked last in the NFL, and the 49ers' rushing offense, ranked sixth the previous year, was ranked near the bottom of the league after eight games under Hostler's direction. Under Hostlers' direction, the 49ers fell behind every team in the league in the categories of total offense, yards passing, and yards per play.
... yeah no thanks
