Teryl Austin is likely going to be DC in Detroit. OC seems to be Clyde Christensen from the Colts.
Where are you seeing that? Or, are you assuming?

Another thing that bears mentioning...in addition to an OC, I really think we need a true QB coach as well. If Jim Zorn isn't up to anything, why not bring him back? But if you look over the body of Flacco's work, he's done his best when he has a true QB coach in addition to the OC.

    Always liked that guy.

His playbook was apparently rivaling David Copperfield and War and Peace's thickness.

As for Caldwell's offensive coordinator, strong buzz that Indy's QB coach Clyde Christensen would be top choice. Worked together with Colts

Should clarify, it's all speculation right now, but that's a pretty strong connection

    Interesting.

That'd be out of left field, no?

Meh...so was Al Saunders'. He never really caught on well with a few teams because of that.

I've seen Jim Tressel as a possibility, as well.

Let me put it this way...

If the Lions hire Caldwell as HC and he takes Hostler to be OC...I'm hosting EVERYBODY for open bar happy hour in OCMD.

    EVERYBODY.

Re: Who Will the Ravens Hire to be OC?

    Per Hoster's Wikipedia page:

As offensive coordinator for the 49ers, he was subject to much scrutiny and criticism regarding his playcalling. Among his most common criticisms was his inability to effectively use star running back Frank Gore, who led the National Football Conference (NFC) in rushing in 2006, but under Hostlers' play calling, was largely ineffective. Gore publicly criticized Hostler, saying the team did not trust his play calling.[3] Midway into the 2007 season, the 49ers' offense was ranked last in the NFL, and the 49ers' rushing offense, ranked sixth the previous year, was ranked near the bottom of the league after eight games under Hostler's direction. Under Hostlers' direction, the 49ers fell behind every team in the league in the categories of total offense, yards passing, and yards per play.

    ... yeah no thanks
