Hearing another name to watch is Brad Childress. Currently "spread game analyst" with KC (ugh, that's a weird title), but obviously has the Harbaugh connections.

I thought this for awhile, but I think he's the fall back option actually.

I think they consider someone outside, but if they can't get them in, Hostler becomes the defacto guy.

Harbaugh is going to thumb his nose at all the doubting fans and media and promote Hostler without exploring any other options.

I really hate to see it but Harbaugh does what he thinks is best no matter what anyone else believes. Hopefully he's right this time.

yes, Browns will have to hire a HC who will then make a decision on norv, before he could come here.

If there's no immediate movement on an OC, bet on us trying to wait out Norv's contract.
