Mack's on top. He'll cost too much. Brian De La Puente will be a substantial improvement and not rock the payroll.

So which free agent will you cut Suggs to sign because that's the way to free up space.

I bet the Giants or the Niners throw a boatload at Mack.

De La Puente would be nice though.

Henne would be a nice back up.

I've heard Mack is going to let Cleveland match any deal he gets offered, and agree he will cost too much given our other needs. Just a guy I would like to see them have interest in. Would be fun to "steal" one of Cleveland's guys for a change...lol.

DLP has been absolute garbage this season

Probably an improvement over Gino, but not a significant one

How has he been garbage? He's looked pretty solid whenever I've watched him play.

That's not the only way to free up cap space. I don't see them cutting Suggs or Ngata.

There are a few FA QBs who would make capable backups if they wanted to move way from Tyrod...Henne, Clemens, Hill, Grossman, etc...any of them would be ok with me. Not sure they will move away from TT in that role though.

True, but we now have a franchise QB. The offense should not be this bad. I should have clarified my original statement.

I'm waiting for a answer as well. He's not the best but looks solid to me as well. Not a significant upgrade??? Why not?
