    I'd like to see them dial back the deep stuff because of Flacco's knee.

    I agree. First pass of the game being deep made no sense to me. Don't these coaches ever want to help Flacco make plays? It seems like they just don't put him in a position to easily succeed the way coaches do for all the other good QBs.

    Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.
