Like many, you fail to see the true performance and the end result. Joe stood in there and consistently hit "piercing" throws (as Dilfer just said) down the field putting the team into scoring position.

He showed toughness and heart. The whole team did.

he played extremely well, no turnovers was key, and that big pass to jones with a clearly inured knee. He couldn't step into his throws at all

Gotta give Joe a ton of credit for tonight. He hung in there with crap OL play and made plays and throws to get the offense into scoring position.

It wasn't pretty, but it worked. That throw and catch to Jacoby for the first down was huge. Absolutely, clutch.

It was great but his career defining game(s) already happened in Denver/New Orleans last year.

Yes, his throws were sailing a bit after the knee injury. I hope his knee is ok and he can play effectively over the next two games.

That throw to Jacoby to get Tucker in range was probably the gutsy play of the year for the Ravens. You can tell that the knee was bothering him. He went from on point to floating every freaking thing, except that one throw that won the game. I know Tuck hit an unbelievable kick but it doesn't happen if Joe doesn't make that throw.

it was a good game, but calling it career-defining is just getting caught up in the moment

    Ha, maybe so... but whatever.
I feel most of the mainstream media think that last year was an aberration... a fluke. "Joe can't evr do that again..." But he's done it two weeks in a row.. again. Yes I'm fired up.

The Mile High Miracle was one throw. Most will call it luck. Tonight was clutch, drive after drive in the face of the most feared pass rush in the league. Joe was freaking spot on with all of throws until the knee injury. After that is not pretty but it was gutsy.
