Three available OL free agents who played under Juan Castillo
They are...
RT - Winston Justice
C/G - Mike McGlynn
RT - Austin Howard
Justice played under Castillo for the Eagles from '06-'10. He is currently with the Broncos.
McGlynn from '08-'10. He is currently with the Colts.
Howard in '10, who later signed with the Ravens and was on our practice squad in 2011. I had completely forgotten he was with us. He played for the Jets last season.
My gut tells me we may sign McGlynn. Maybe, as insurance at C or G.
What are your thoughts? Thanks.

I'd be good with McGlynn as insurance. Let him compete with Gino, Jensen and whoever else.
Austin Howard would be good too. He turned into a pretty solid RT.
Winston Justice? No thanks.

Austin Howard would be a solid pick up, he has good size too. Needs to work on his run blocking though. The Ravens need to get good run blocking linemen if they go through FA imo.

Re: Three available OL free agents who played under Juan Castillo
I'm with you. I don't like any of them. I want the Ravens to bring in a Center to start, not a back-up quality guy to compete with Gradkowski, only to have Gradkowski be the starting Center again next year. Also, I think the Ravens are going to keep wither Monroe or Oher, but not both. They will try to resign Monroe. If they succeed in doing so, then Oher is gone. However, if they cannot resign Monroe, then I think they will keep Oher. It would be tough having to replace both OTs. I expect either the first or second round pick in this year's draft to be an OT.

I don't want any Justice for the Ravens....Winston, that is.

“When I think of a Baltimore Raven - we go in there, we take your lunch box, we take your sandwich, we take your juice box, we take your applesauce, and we take your spork and we break it. And we leave you with an empty lunch. That’s the Baltimore Raven way.” - Steve Smith Sr.
Call me a Special Teams coach again. I dare you! I double dare you, MFer!
