I was waiting for someone to start this thread. Rainey showed skills against third and fourth-string defenses, but when it comes to facing opposing starters, he wouldn't do much. I am sure Harbs and Co. will mull signing him. If they do, great. If not, I look forward to the forum that calls them stupid.

They cut Rainey because he sucked for them.

I like him, and he did well against second string talent as well, so he could probably play, but not behind this line. He won't do any better than what they have. Now, seeing as how they are down to 2 backs, I don't know why they wouldn't bring him back, he knows the offense, and they need the depth.
