Holmes potentially available?
http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...cal-clearance/
There seems to be rumblings about a Holmes and Jets disagreement every 2-3 days. I know the contract might be an issue but could the Jets be a possible trade partner. He has his issues but he did well in Pittsburgh in a steady organization. I would love him here but I'm not sure if that is reasonable. Re: Holmes potentially available?
I don't see a trade for Holmes happening either. Besides the health and attitude concerns, his contract is prohibitive. His base salary for 2013 is $11 million, with $7.5 million of that guaranteed.
Santonio Holmes Wide Receiver
7/30/2011:
Signed a five-year, $45.25 million contract. The deal contains $24 million guaranteed -- including $7.25 million in upfront bonuses, all of Holmes' first- and second-year base salaries, and $7.5 million of his 2013 salary. He is eligible for annual $250,000 workout bonuses in years two through four. 2013: $11 million, 2014: $8.25 million (+ $1 million roster bonus due in March), 2015: $6.5 million (+ $1 million roster bonus + $500,000 workout bonus), 2016: Free Agent

Re: Holmes potentially available?
Holmes has been wrong for this team each and every year that he has been suggested as an acquisition.

Re: Holmes potentially available?
Holmes was just born to fuck the Ravens over, one way or another. His joining the team wouldn't change that.
