    Another Reed????

Coleman said on 105.7 that Brown will be impacting by the end of the year
and just in time for the playoffs. Slow starting but he's learning. He's
    had an excellent camp.
You can't say Elam was tentative or the game is too big for him. It's nice to see what the hype was about. He dropped Hillis like a domino. And he's still a pup, I can see big things from him.

It's nice we don't have to rush Brown. I feel pretty good about ILB now, one of the bigger concerns.

And Tyrod looked as good as I can remember. Pretty cool to see him run the option.

Michael Irving sure was livid on TV when Jerry passed on Elam. What a dope and
that was after he said the Girls were trying to emulate the Ravens-lol.

Tyrod might be a decent backup if Joe ever goes down, lordy forbid. Usually
you write the season off when you lose the qb for the year but Tyrod might
give us half a chance like Zeke Bratkowski did for the old Packers as Bart
Star's long time backup. He used to kill the Colts when Bart was out.

Ravens feel Brown is faster than Ray was last year.

They just keep dropping into Ozzie's lap for some reason. We liked
Cyprien but they were both there and so was Brown in the 2d round. Ozzie
essential got two first rounders in that draft. He might have taken Brown
in first round if Elam and Cyprien were gone.

    .
It's the first time I've seen him pass consistently as well as run well during preseason. Looks like the game has slowed down some for him. He showed signs of maturity last night although he also telegraphed a couple passes.

Ravens showed pretty good depth last night but it's only game 1 PS.
    Twenty years of Cheers.
Thanks Baltimore Ravens Fans - You're the Best!

So was it Matt Elam or Ihedigbo starting last night?

Very impressed with Canty and Daryl Smith. The Dline was pushing the pocket every time. Front 7 will be our main strength this year. Run def and pass rush was there. Secondary looked a little shaky in deep coverage, this is mainly due to communication issues I think. Couldn't watch much of the game sadly.

O looked bad, but I think that was due to an ultra vanilla game plan. Hopefully we'll see more next week.

LOL - The game never did slow down for Boller all those years.

With Tyrod and then Elam and IH as you mention below, this shows how deep
Ravens are. D-line has all that depth too.

Im not sure how I feel about the game. I guess overall good but i wouldnt say it really changed my opinion much on anybody which i was hoping would happen. WRs still look raw and in consistent. Williams id say was a bright spot. Taylor really seems to zone in on him whenever theyre out there. Ive noticed that the past few years, its as if no matter what thats his first read and usually goes with it. I think commentators even mentioned at one point that he was just a clear out and Taylor still threw it to him as if he wasnt really expecting it. I do feel fine with him being backup though, he looked a lot better with the football. Williams may play himself onto the roster regardless if reed continues to struggle with injuries if he shows signs as a WR. otherwise pretty much what i expected from everybody good and bad.
