Exactly, which makes me wonder if it even happened the way it's being portrayed. California has very strict gun laws, discharging a firearm in most towns will get you some trouble. Couple that with someone getting shot in the process, and I would think there would have been criminal charges brought against them. Seems like a money grab to me...

I think it will be interesting to see what the Jets do this season - will they completely implode, actually have a so-so record, surprise almost everybody and have a winning season, other? Obviously they have a lot of issues, and I won't put rent money on it, but I guess it's possible that they may surprise. OTOH, they may provide some great daytime soap drama if things get out of hand.

    From your link-
"Smith and Walker appeared on the balcony of Smith's home to try and end the party and began to fire shots into the air, the lawsuit said."

I'll have to remember that tactic for the next affair at Chateau Petard! ;)

Broncos trying to take back signing bonus from Von Miller. Maybe they figure they don't need him that much after all

Looks like Pouncey and Larry Foote out for the season for the Steelers. Their RB, Stephens-Howling, also got hurt.

I didn't see anything about a Polomolu injury.

Wow Boldin looks amazing. So much for not being able to get separation lol

When the safeties and corners are worried about the QB running ability, it's easier to get open.

An important point for the people assuming Boldin would be putting up games like this for us. San Fran has a unique ability to force defenders to play zone to keep Kaep from taking off, which Boldin excels against.
My motto was always to keep swinging. Whether I was in a slump or feeling badly or having trouble off the field, the only thing to do was keep swinging. -Hank Aaron

    Good point.

Plus, Green Bay's defense hasn't been very good in a few years.
