"Hard Knocks" Returns to the AFC North

... and the team is once again the Bengals.

Their stint four years ago was one of the better seasons, IMO, but that featured Chad Johnson and all his nonsense.

I'm having a hard time believing the likes of Andy Dalton would make for compelling television.

They're doing this in part because they won the division when they made their appearance.

What I noticed the last time is how uptight that organization is. Even with Chad they lacked so much personality especially with Mike Brown.

At least it was better than the Cowboys who had to feature Jerry Jones in nearly every segment. What a pompous moronic and dumber than a box of rocks asshole

Hard Knocks is always good, regardless of who it is.

Bengals have some good story lines - Burfict, growth of Dalton/Green connection, seeing how Eiffert is in camp.

Would love to see them do the Browns or Lions though. Teams with even more misery in their past.

the big angle is going to be chasing down the SB champion Ravens.

Let's take some time to reflect on how good this is. A few years ago, the storyline in the AFC North was "How can anyone compete with/knock off Pittsburgh?"

Now, it's "How can we knock off the Ravens?"

It can't be any duller than the Dolphins were last year. They spent a ton of time on guys like Chad Johnson who didn't even make the roster.

Something tells me that the list of teams willing to do this show is a short one.

The real question is how much money does Mike Brown get for it.
