    We'll see.

They were talking about Leach's $4M cap hit today on the radio.

They also said he's good on special teams and is listed as the 3rd TE and 2d FB
and played H-Back very well. He's the best blocking TE we have.

look at his Senior Bowl video. He can bring it at FB and mow some guys over. Even on the edge he uses his hands well to engage and create space for the RB.

I just don't see how we keep both guys. It makes no sense financially.

Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

I don't either. At some point a decision will need to be made but I suspect they want to see him prove it against NFL talent first

I don't see why they can't if they just carry 2 tight ends instead of 3. This guy is practically a TE anyway.

    Re: Kyle Juszczyk

The guy can play FB, if you watched the senior bowl and scouts list him as a FB. He can also block his arse off and catch. This either does two things, makes Leach take a paycut (not making 4+ Million) not many teams even use a FB and average price is about 2M so he wont have many options or will get the same or less $$ with another team or they can just release him once they see the Harvard dude in minicamp and TC. You dont need to be a genius to play FB, plus he is from Harvard I bet he can figure it out.

With all do respect I pay no attention to anyone on the radio. Especially Cerrato

A couple of notes from the Ravens Twitter page.
You have to love this guy's attitude.

Kyle Juszczyk: I don't hesitate to hit somebody in the mouth.

Kyle Juszczyk said he was hoping he would be a #Raven after officially visiting Baltimore.

In regards to Leach, Ozzie said that there could be room for both on the Roster. I take that as Leach is getting a Boldin offer of pay cut or be cut.

That would be my guess. I doubt they pay him (Leach) what he is contracted for considering they still need to address LT and have a FB option in the fold now.

I really doubt they wait till training camp to move on this. If they did not think the kid could not fill the role I highly doubt they draft him in the 4th. I think optimally Leach takes a cut and they keep both for this season allowing Leach to mentor the kid. Fortunately this kid seems to have some versatility in how he can be used that will make keeping them both a option.
