Openning Game 2013 Season Now an Away Game (Merged)

    Jeff Zrebiec ‏@jeffzrebiecsun

Per league source, NFL kickoff game in Baltimore is sort of in limbo. Ravens and orioles have not been able to agree to compromise.

This is ridiculous. Me thinks the Orioles want to be compensated for moving their game? One winning season and they think they have leverage all of a sudden?

Disappointing that Angelos and company are being hard asses about this.

I dont see what there is to compromise about honestly. What, do the orioles want in return for this?

Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

The champs have to negotiate with a crap franchise? What a bunch of classless losers.

    Really...what is it to compromise?

This is why I never go to O's games. Angelos is a complete douche. One of my family friends, who is a high up exec for a company, had a run in with Angelos at a game. Angelos complained because someone in their party had their O's hat on backwards and that they were too rowdy. They were in the box next to Angelos.

LOL O's. I love you but come on.

You are playing the White Sox in a 4 game series that kicks off 9/5. Just do a double-header for one of those games and take the day off on 9/5.

Or bump it to a midday deal.

There's no evidence to support this, but I completely blame Angelos...

It shouldn't be this complicated, you have 81 home games, just fudge one of them for the greater good! Can you imagine the hoopla if we had an O's game in the afternoon, Ravens game in the evening? That could be one massive nutbuster of a day!

Call me a Special Teams coach again. I dare you! I double dare you, MFer!

League discussed playing opener on Wednesday Sept 4 but decided against that day because that's Rosh Hashanah.

Do the Orioles want people to hate them? They must

They are saying the other option is for the Ravens to open on the road.

That is ridiculous. You don't make the goddamn SB team open on the road.

The O's need to get their heads out of their asses and accomodate the fucking Ravens here.

The O's came out with a DVD just for making the first round of the playoffs, so clearly they think pretty highly of themselves. Who makes a "we made the playoffs" DVD?
