    Still no cuts?

Any news on possible releases lately? Usually the Ravens cut at least some players by now. When do you think it will happen? I originally thought this Tuesday.

It's strange. A lot of other teams are getting themselves in shape for free agency. The Giants for example have cut a bunch of players and announced that 2 starters would be taking pay cuts to stay with the team today. They are now $9 million under the cap going into next week.

I'm sure there will be cuts coming but as usual the team isn't letting a damn thing leak out.

I agree, the suspense is building. Not only that, free agent signing or restructuring of Boldin.

maybe we have no cuts to be made. We have enough pending FAs that we dont need to cut anybody to move forward, especially if we dont plan on resigning most, or maybe even all of them.

I think no cuts means they will be aiming to restructure/extend more than we think.

    Mainly for: Jones, Boldin, Leach

I hope the Ravens are talking to Boldin and Jacoby about contract extensions. Not only would we save some decent cap space, but we'd at least have them down for 2014 too.

Maybe we just need to be a little patient LOL

Besides by Ozzie's own admission they are 5 weeks behind in the evaluation process. Perhaps they just need the entire weekend to make the final decisions on cuts/restructing and free agent acquisition. After all they do have until Tuesday to get their cap # finalized. My guess is that they are talking with their own free agents now (Ellerbee, Kruger, Cary, Reed) to get a better feel of what their next moves will be. This will dictate who they restructure and who they pursue. Got to clean the house before you can invite more guests over:)
