    Re: The Brady Kick

It was a punk move regardless of his apology. You do not aim for another player's knee on purpose.

Permanent loss of respect for "Tom Terrific".

It takes a big man to apologize and a big one to accept.

I respect the apology. If Ed doesn't have a prob with it neither should we. He
    put it to rest.
playing it better in the eyes of the NFL to not fine him... not that hes a better person for it.

It still didn't do him any good although he should have been fined more than this.
I expect Brady to get fined but at least he came clean.

Brady worried about his reputation at this point. Always seen as competitive and fired up, he doesn't need this clip of him being unsportsman like being shown during the off sesason. Glad he apologized,it helps his image, you know, the one that says he is one of the better QBs befre 2010. LOL Having stories of Flacco being the better QB these last two years(Flacco beating him twice this season) and then showing his attempt to hurt Reed, would be hard to handle for brady. Hell, what team has beaten the pats twice in one season. Ravens and who else?

and if he did admit to it, it probably would have been, which is all im saying. I think in the NFLs perspective its better to ignore it and protect the image of the league than to admit to it and force its hand to acknowledge such things happen, especially when its one of its golden boys.

Not sure what's going on with this quote.

Reed also added context to what occurred in the heat of the moment.

"For the most part, I didn't say anything to him when he said something to me at the game," Reed said. "... He was going, 'You want to play like that, let's go.'
Brady was whining to Reed about his playing style?
Brady threw the kick because he was pissed?

Ed's comments about Brady are curious to me. The Ravens can't afford to give him the money he wants next year and it has been speculated all year that a good fit would be the Patriots. Reed has been vocal in the past about his contract which leads me to believe he wants a big pay day. His kind words could be his way of courting a menages-a-trois bromance(Bellicheck, Brady and Reed).

Thanks for having this video on the Russell Street Report. It is definitely one of the best I have seen. Hope the networks pick it up and shows it for the next 7 days.

This has no bearing on it deserves a fine or not.
An apology does not change if he deserves a fine. And accepting the apology has even less of bearing on a fine.
