The right answer is "hey, it's free speech, different people have different values and different opinions about what is right and wrong, get thicker skin."
Why do people think they have the right to try to modify the behavior of other people? Or to punish people who don't share their values? Where exactly is this list of words that are bad or wrong? Who made this list? Is this list a law?
There is no list. It's bad people who are just pretending there is any sort of list. There is no law.
Gruden was punished for what, exactly? He violated the law that said you can't say pussy or faggot? There is no law. The left, WRONGLY, thinks they should be able to punish people for saying things that they simply don't like.
In the future, if the Christians take charge, perhaps everyone who said anything positive about abortion or homosexuality would be fired from their jobs and sent to Bible Camp, and release when their Blasphemous Views are cured. Sound good? It's same thing as now, but with different people in charge, with different views as to what is good and right and virtuous.
The population of the US is 70% Christian. So it's not far fetched. The media is not owned and controlled by 70% Christian though, so you'll get the outcomes that we have now. If all the media was 70% Christian, it would be Nassib with the problem and not Gruden. Eventually, the majority is likely to grow tired of the minority acting like the majority and imposing their values on the majority. But maybe not.
