But ...but ...but ...Mangold is going to sign with the Ravens any minute and save our O-line! You just wait!
Actually the Mangold talk has pretty much quieted down lately. If he hadn't signed after the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd games, especially with our Oline need, then it already looked like that boat had sailed... Bc
we kinda figured something is wrong with him given how bad many teams Oline is Mangold would have the pick of the litter if he was healthy so I think we all knew he is not healthy because he hasn't declared his retirement yet either.
I couldn't believe there was any Mangold talk after week 1 honestly. As if every team but Baltimore has a great center and we're the only ones that were letting him sit out there.
But there were quite a few on here who were convinced Oz had a handshake agreement.

I never bought into this idea that Mangold wanted to be paid like a top 5 Center when he was saying back in August that he wasn't healthy enough to play. Hopefully a year off heals him up but he's probably done.
Makes me wonder if Yanda can come back next year. I give him mad respect he could have come back and just stole checks
Explains why he never signed anywhere. A hobbled Mangold would not have solved our interior OL issues, especially w/ Yanda now out. Good to know at least it wasn't passivity on our part.
