What’s Joe supposed to do when the passes are getting deflected by his receivers into defender’s hands?

Tackle the guy with the ball instead of his own WR in line to make the tackle.

How many of those 10 interceptions were the cause of a receiver running the wrong route or, worse, the receiver tipping the pass up in the air and having it picked off by the opposition? I can think of at least 2 right off the top of my head from this season (Maclin and West). Those aren't Flacco's fault, yet some are using it as the primary reason for why Flacco sucks.
Believe me, there are SEVERAL reasons why he's not worth the contract he's being paid and he certainly has made his fair share (more, actually) of "WTF?!" throws. However, the "10 Picks in 10 Games" meme is based on false premise.
It goes beyond pure numbers. The guy has zero poise behind the pocket. He makes 2-3 bonehead decisions every single game. He always has at least one delay of game penalty each game (if not two). Even on some of the plays where you can blame receivers (like the interceptions today) he consistently throws the ball late and stares receivers down. Quarterbacks should not be regressing each year when they've been in the league for 10 years.

yeah they always matter.
But it also matters how they happened.
Which is what people seem to struggle with.

There is a certain subset of people here that absolutely refuse to even acknowledge visible facts.
Which is why this place has turned into absolute garbage.
Re: "10 Picks in 10 Games" as an Argument
Real receivers make plays for their QB. Both picks today should have been caught by the intended receiver (and don't forget Williams fumbled after Joe's pass to him would have resulted in a first down.)
Re: "10 Picks in 10 Games" as an Argument
The only time Joe has strung four decent games in a row was in his contract year during the playoffs. That's it....in a ten year career....well basically 9 years with his ACL and this year. So, out of basically 155 starts to include the playoffs(guessing here), he's only played well in 4 straight out of 155 starts. Remember the, "ELITE" T-shirts and discussions....lmao. There is a young USC Quarterback waiting to be drafted by the Ravens next year. Hang it up....the Fat Lady sang!

#FPM
Flacco Picks Matter*. Print up the baseball hats and T-shirts.
*It does not matter whether those pics are because Flacco is being a bone head, the O-line is swiss cheese, or our draft picks are Edward Stonehands, in the end it typically ends in an L.
It could also be Flacco Pics Matter (at least to him, 'cause that hair is awesome, you have to admit that, even if you don't like the guy's play on the field).

I think you'll find most of the "elite" QBs in this league rarely play 4 straight good games. That's just not the way of the NFL anymore.

People are morons and see what they want.
Just today Ryan threw a game ending pick, Stafford threw a pick six and so did brees.
Ben R is also doing jack shit.
Re: "10 Picks in 10 Games" as an Argument
Pittsburgh is darn near winning this game the same way they won the playoff game last year in this same venue.
Re: "10 Picks in 10 Games" as an Argument
You may be right but the inconsistent play is so hard to watch. I'm so confused!
