Corey, it's not that I deny the possibility, but am holding out hope the Ravens (especially Flacco) turn it around somehow (?) I know it's a long-shot, and the odds are in your favor, but please let an old man wish for the best. Tis curious tho that 'cept for the Kubiak year, Joe has never been the same since the Super Bowl run of 2012/13... Bc

Scheme Fit
... In my opinion, Woodrum displays the arm talent, velocity, and touch to thrive in a more downfield passing game, and would fit best in a Coryell / Arians style of offense.
This is why , while I’m not opposed to not playing Joe if we are out of the playoffs( man that was hard to say with a straight face ), I think you go Mallet cause this kid doesn’t fit our “system”. Much like Joe doesn’t.

Funny how Joe seemed to fit the system when he had Boldin and Torrey Smith to sling the ball to... Bc

Different system. Caldwell didn’t try and run a West Coast Offense. It was still basically Cam’s Air Coryell. Run first , set up play action and go down town. Joe’s strength. Since we had Kubs , Barbs has tried to run a variation of his West Coast.

As if Harbs knows what's best for this offense. Run a variant of the Kubiak offense, it worked in 2014. It wasn't a pure west coast system, Flacco still took deep shots.
I swear the current Ravens organization could make changing a light bulb a baffling ordeal.

Conjecture, conjecture, conjecture. This isn't his first rodeo. He's been around. He isn't afraid. I don't feel he'll be ruined by the experience. A lot of QBs come out of college and get drafted by horrible teams. Believe it.... He wants the chance.

Thanks for the reminder while you're at it why don't you just give me a paper cut and pour lemon juice on it!

Just a thought, Joe can't go down field because he can't.

Re: Josh Woodrum is our future, people!
The league's opinion is that Woodrum is a JAG but there is a chance he is good enough to be a primary backup. I doubt that we will find out the answer to that question this year.
