Sorry joesixpack... no you can't protest at work because you're easily replaced.
These athletes can and should. A lot of scared people in America projecting right now.
No athletes aren't just going to dance for you anymore. Deal with it or go find some safespace to huddle with your comrades and cry about it

To bad, fans have a right to an opinion also. Clearly you don't understand how freedom of speech works.
You want to see the players protest, but then you get your feelings hurt when someone has a differing opinion. Stop your pathetic whining and deal with it, or not. I don't really care.
Apparently I'm not the one that needs a safe space. If you guys wan too play social justice warriors go right ahead, but I'm not playing in your anti-American BS and false narrative.

Fans do just no one cares to hear it.

There's no doubt it's had an effect. I'm sure these players are seeing their picture all over the media, with videos and posts everywhere of pissed off fans. The boos today didn't help I'm sure. I'm willing to bet they never imagined the back-lash from Baltimore fans to be this intense. It is what it is.

Oh well. Like I said. If the players want to inject politics into football, this is the result. Someone else is going to have a differing opinion whether you want to hear it to not. The boos made that clear today.

Your the one that's mad dude. We're all laughing at you.
Players have the power and right to protest finally and all these hypocrites smashing their face full of nachos and changing their fantasy line up while sitting on the couch at home during the anthem.... then they get their internet balls and type about how offended they are lol
Nothing tastier than hypocrite tears lol

I don't think they care. Why would they? they are professional athletes.

Colin Kaepernick had 18 TD's last year and 4 INT's. Yet Austin Davis and Ryan Mallett are employed today, while Kaepernick's unemployed ass watched todays games from home.
What is the reason for this? Care to explain? It's obviously not lack of talent.
Re: When Fandom Starts to Dwindle
This thread is pretty funny to read. Our favorite team has lost 2 games in a row...at the same time injecting politics (divisive) into a product that has always been unifying.
The entire Ravens fanbase is in such an odd place considering everything going on around the league. I've been a Ravens fan since 1996 and I've never seen so much apathy amongst Ravens fans before. People aren't caring.
This is not fun at all.
Winning cures all, but I'm not so sure about that with this team. I hope I'm wrong.

We need a new HC I think that would bring some optimism in

Owners were initially afraid to sign him due to the ridiculous hero worship and recent trend of fascism masked as nationalism.
Unfortunately for Kaep, he lost his job out of fear, the players took note and are supporting his cause... and now the owners are forced to deal with it.
Kaep may never play again, but his protest won. Its now the focus of discussion across America..
I have no idea why your asking as it doesn't relate to how hypocritical the fake outrage from 1/2 the fans which was the context of my previous post
