Your friend has no clue about what he was sent to fight for. BTW, I'm expressing a contrary opinion; it's your friend who's expressing "so much hate".
I know what I was sent for and continue to be sent for. It was to kill every last MF'er that was involved with attacking our World Trade centers, Pentagon, and the American way of life. Further more I find the protest to be completely disrespectful. So if you are looking for service members that feel disrespected I can find you thousands. I'm not against the protest, but find more effective ways that actually generate enduring policies, not disrespecting a huge populace of Americans and further dividing the country.

Sane person: What does it matter? I'm drinking the coffee that I paid for.
Insane person: When you said you bought the coffee, you inferred that you actually made the purchase. You didn't so, you were lying.
Sane person: Why does this matter?
Insane person: You're a bigot!
This is awesome

SO getting back to the original questions, I would think and enterprising person could make a lot by selling little flags outside the stadium. Imagine the sight of thousand upon thousand of fans waving flags in the stadium,

Are they properly trained? This is just my opinion, but I DO NOT think they are. Standing and shooting at a target doesn't qualify a person to react to real world scenarios. A lot of LE have little experience dealing with hostile or even just questionable situations. There are so many more police shootings than reported and against all races, genders, etc... They are not trained in crisis managing and tend to approach situations with a "it's them or me attitude". They are not trained to think swiftly. example: You have a gun drawn, with a barrier (car door) in between yourself and a potential threat, what are the chances that they can draw a gun from waist, point, and shoot prior to you (Cop) being able to simply pull trigger. Another thing. Dominate positions. Take the Castro shooting. That cop had a huge advantage/dominate shooting position. Under trained and panicked. The Cop that just shot the Australian women panicked because he thought he heard something. panic and undertrained Just my o2. If they want to make real change than start influence policy and make the academies properly train police officers. Some cops should just be writing tickets.

I mentioned that earlier in the thread. Take flags and wear American colors instead of Purple and Black or just find a way to do both.

Hey my man, I am all about discussing opinions and views of our experiences and what we want to stand for, why we joined and why we did/do what we do, but in my professional opinion its not good to come on here and state certain words specifically. They know what we did/do, know reason to bring it up to civilians in that sense. But thats just me. Stay safe.
