Yes. Even beyond the unnecessary shootings.
Look at the case of Elliott Williams. Left paralyzed and begging for water on the floor of a jail cell for 5 days (while they accused him of faking) until he died.
His family won $10.25M from the sheriff's department in a civil trial, but no charges were ever brought against the sheriff. No charges.

If an America citizen is given an order by a LE officer on a traffic stop, he/she is to follow it.
If you do NOT follow the order, then you will suffer the consequences.
Support law enforcement; support the rule of law; and, support law and order.

Wow. Just wow.
I wish that was a truly unique case but it's just one example.

Well, there is a difference between and unnecessary shooting and murder.

No charges doesn't prove anything. They thought he was faking (or so they said) how do you prove otherwise?
Now, I'm not diminishing the loss of this mans life when I say this. To say police "repeatedly getting away with murder and targeting the black community" you'll need a lot more than one case when there are roughly 60 to 70 MILLION people who have at least one interaction with police each year.

Let's take his skin color out of the equation for a moment. You can easily prove otherwise with a simple medical evaluation. He caused his own injury, but still, what happened after that was something called negligent homicide, which is Involuntary Manslaughter.

Ok, let me know how many examples will be enough. Where would the threshold lay for you?
Also, it does not matter what they think in regards to him faking it. It should be their duty to act as if he is in need of medical assistance to prevent this.

One point I want to make though is, it's larger than just a "black problem" and the issue has been condensed into one. I say this knowing that dark skinned people are disproportionately targeted.
I believe the problem with police brutality needs to be addressed in its entirety. Everybody who knows people in the police force knows that guy who thinks he's Dirty Harry just because he was issued a gun.

No doubt. Just because you have the gun, does not mean you have to pull it. It should be the absolute last resort.
De-escalation without violence should be the #1 priority.

Certainly more than one.
But examples don't prove police "repeatedly getting away with murder and targeting the black community". To be honest, I'm not sure how you prove that. But I'm opening to looking at it.

Absolutely, I agree. But you said murder.

That's easy to say when our lives are not on the line. And I'm not being snarky, I'm being serious.

The respect issue is what DJT turned it into to divert from the actual issue.
If it's not about respect but about the police...what does kneeling during the national anthem at a football game have to do with the police?
I'm being serious. I really don't get it.
