Re: OT - The Movies/TV thread
Just watched a movie on Hulu. The Last Full Measure. It’s a Vietnam vet movie based on a true story. And Air Force PJ is nominated for the CMH.
Damn good movie. Great , Great cast. I believe it’s Peter Fonda’s last role. Def recommended.

Debating on going to see Old tomorrow night, but Shyamalan movies are either good/great or objectively horrible, there's no "meh" with him, so not sure I want to spend the money on it yet. It's a roll of the dice without seeing reviews.
Re: OT - The Movies/TV thread
Not a movie, but this Converse commercial by Tyler is hilarious (to me obv... YMMV).

GOT update spoilers ahead:
Just finished season 4. Wow great season. So far this show is like a good homemade gravy it gets better as it simmers and thickens (that might not make sense but I'm hungry lol).
Thank God Joffrey is finally dead. Good riddance prick! But wow it was unexpected. Up until that point there was no peril in that scene so you have no clue he's about to go all total recall. That was brutal yet satisfying watching him go. Then Tyrion taking the fall while Sansa is rushed away to the opportunistic arms of Baelish. He's such a snake. The mystery surrounding who poisoned Joffrey is interesting and Marjorie is making moves.
I'm going to bounce around but the battle at the wall was fucking amazing. That whole sequence reminded me of the battle of helms deep from Lord of the rings. Seeing Jon Snow kind of take over as leader was a cool moment for the character.
Bran Stark is really starting to use his mind control ability well.
The Mountain killing Prince Oberyn was disturbing...jesus. That arrogant Inigo Montoya knock off had the fight won he coulda been a legend but he fucked it up and in turn sentenced Tyrion to death. And why was he just allowed to hang out in the city after the wedding when it was obvious he wanted revenge on the Lannisters?
Jamie Lannister continues to be a pleasant surprise as his character develops. His relationship with Tyrion in this season is a new wrinkle to him. But then he goes and rapes his sister next to their dead incest son's body and really sets his character back. If it wasn't for the incest jamie would top my list of fav characters. Then he helps Tyrion escape and Tyrion circles back and kills Tywin making this kinda blow up in Jamie's face. I was kind of sad to see Tywin go because the actor is fantastic and he's a great villain. I get this feeling that this is just the tip of the iceberg of things going wrong for Jamie. He just can't have nice things.
Cast out and hiding Tyrion has to many options
Ser Jorah was a spy??? Wtf. And he is promptly sent away. He'll play a role later i suspect.
Brienne of tarth took down the mighty Hound. I was sad to see he and Arya's journey end here. Since we don't see his death I believe that he survives and makes a later appearance although that could be wishful thinking because I like the character.
Favorite characters:
Much of the same here as it has been the last few seasons but
1. Tyrion. Dinklage is a fucking treasure
2. Jon snow. Really jumped up the list for me this season
3. Jamie Lannister
4. The Hound
5. Arya. She seems to enjoy revenge
Hated characters (not including ones that died in this season)
1. Cersei
2.Baelish
3. The red woman
4. Ramsey Bolton
5. Roose Bolton ( not for anything he did this season because he was kind of MIA but he will always be on this list for his betrayal of Robb Stark)

You completely get it. You are on the right track for sure.

Re: OT - The Movies/TV thread
The fun thing is as good as Watchers on the Wall is, there is one, if not two episodes with even better battles to come. One is in S5 (the end of which is one of the best visuals in the show) but the best (IMO) is in S6.
Wait until you find out how and who poisoned Joffrey.
Arya is definitely going to rise up your list.

Spoilage.....
Yes, you are right on target with where you need to be as far as characters go.
Shit is about to get even crazier!
The Purple Wedding was quite satisfying, especially considering how much a prick he was being. I don't think I've ever hated a child actor so much in my entire life, so it's a testament to his abilities.
As we discussed earlier...the wheel keeps turning. We basically start the show with Barantheons on the throne, Lannisters probably next most powerful, Starks a stable power, Tyrells in the background and Targaryens in exile. Things have certainly changed at this point though.
The backstory on Tyrion and the whore(it's not just Shay), really sheds some light on his relationships with both Jamie and his father. It's pretty sick what Tywin made Jamie do all those years ago and being shot on the toilet after putting your son on trial and then sleeping with his hoe is just punishment.
Speaking of Twin, how great was the interaction between him and Lady Tyrell when discussing their children and grandchildren?
Our little baby miss Arya Stark has quite a journey ahead of her...
Speaking of can't have nice things...Jon Snow...that is all. The best leaders don't actually want to do it.
Fuck the Boltons. Fuck everything about them. Absolutely zero redeeming qualities. Just like the Freys.
Littlefinger is perhaps one of the best to ever play the Game of Thrones in my opinion. He did not come from a great house or money and yet, look at what he has accomplished so far. He is without a doubt and evil genius type and can not be trusted at all - but you have to admire how far he's come and how well he has been able to carve out a piece for himself while pulling some serious strings behind the scenes. Still kind of pissed about him giving Roz to Joffrey for his "amusement", but she should have known better than to cross him.
Yeah Jorah was originally sent to spy, but he obviously is on Danys side now. The only reason he was even there in that capacity was because the honorable Ned wanted his ass strung up for slaving and he had to cut some deals to get himself out of the country to hide basically. But Mormonts still have a bit more to say down the road. Kinda crazy that Ned cast out Lord Mormont's son and Lord Mormont took Ned's bastard son under his wing.
The Brienne and Hound fight was epic and brutal...hand to hand combat at it's rawest.

Yes! lady Tyrell is awesome. Love every scene with that woman. Hilarious.
I didn't even realize Lord Mormont was Jorah's father. Thank you for that lol. So many fucking characters and connections
Re: OT - The Movies/TV thread
Recently rented Werewolves within movie.
Based on a video game from what I read. I rented this movie because I find actress Milana Vantrub (Busty redhead from ATT commercials) in it crazy hot. She has that nerdy look to her I just love. It also has Sam Richardson who was also just in Tomorrow war. He is pretty funny and So far like him in the two movies I have seen him in.
The movie is a little quirky comedy / horror. Overall for the sub par cast it was not that bad. Its worth watching atleast once but it is nothing to rave about. The werewolf special effects are trash.
Finally finished Titans Season 1 and 2. For DC based I will say the show is ok, but it is not as good as expected it to be.
Some of the characters and their costumes are pretty corny and at times the acting and storyline is like a bad day time soap opera.
I really wish DC comics would just hand Christopher Nolan a blank check and just say ok, go make us some money and make it look credible please because DC comics just continues to circle the toilet bowl drain with the terrible shit they keep putting out.
How many movies, shows and streaming services have to plummet before someone throws in the towel and just hires the right guy to do it.
Let Christopher Nolan put his stamp on the DC universe the same way he did with Batman

Not a bad idea but those A#%Holes would rather have Zeroes like "Hack" Snyder make a mess of it rather than hiring someone who could do it the right way (excluding "Tenet" of course)!
OT - The Movies/TV thread
Well there is officially a movie title I can give credit to being literally the worst movie ever made.
I recorded it solely because I wanted to know why a movie made in 1983 never got released until 2020 but now I know. Plus it leads with Charlie sheen, George Clooney and a young sexy Laura Dern.
The movie is Grizzly 2 the revenge.
Who ever made this movie deserves to be eaten by a real life grizzly bear or to all at once get every STD Charlie Sheens dick has endured EVER!
What they don’t tell you is the three known actors die in first five minutes. The only good point is you get to see Laura dern in her bra and panties.
This movie is so terribly written, directed, acted words cannot describe it. The movie has like nature shots, and concert shots spliced into it. The music is totally ripped off from jaws and Friday the 13th.
This movie is like an 8 year old kid made it on His parents projector.
It was difficult but I had to finish it just so I can tell people I’ve literally seen the worst movie ever made in history and there is no debate on a close second it’s that bad.
