The numbers are the numbers.

Jacksonville is in Houston. Is that far enough North? If not, then Atlanta is in Chicago.

If Irma follows the predicted course, no, it's not. And this is the strongest hurricane ever recorded in the Atlantic.

This is also a big reason why the 'Offense vs Defense' numbers are nearly as meaningless.
Actually BWill was a mid-rounder also (we just ponied up to keep him) Suggs is the only 1st rounder if we call him a DE, but he is not in the 8 DL dollars number
We have had only 1 1st rd DL, that was Haloti (counting Suggs as LB)
and Six 2nd rd DL Jernigan, Cody(both Dan and Terrance), Kruger (was DE we yo-yo'd both inside and outside), Dwan Edwards (the six year wonder), Weaver (who come with the franchise)
We hired a bunch like Sam Adams (1st #8), Marcus Spears (1st #20 Bust cut in October), Trevor Pryce (1st #28), Cory Redding (3rd #66), Chris Canty (4th #132), Ryan McBean (4th #132) IR Bust), , Larry Webster (3rd #70), Goose(undrafted)

Don't want to be fussy, but BWill was selected in the 3rd round (#94). So not quite a mid-round pick... Bc

I was just going with sword's flow he called 5 mid-rounders, so he was classifying Kaufusi (3rd), Wormley (3rd), Davis (3rd) as mid rounders, was just reminding him by those standards, BWill classified as a mid-rounder also

Well when you only have 7 rounds, the middle of the draft would be rounds 3-5. So yeah it makes sense to me.
Chalk it up to the team knowing how to draft D-Linemen. They scout DL as well as anyone in the league. They also have the benefit of the hybrid 3-4 system, where they wouldn't typically take a 4-3 stud pass rushing DE in round 1.

Didn't mean to be knit-picky with Rx. I usually look at the first three rounds as "high", 4 - 5 as mid, 6-7 as low. Semantics, perspective? Still a 3rd round pick is pretty valuable... Bc
