So you didn't vote for Biden then?

And socialism doesn't? Downturns happen to all economies. It is part of the process of weeding out excesses and those businesses that are no longer viable for whatever reason.
As for a subservient class, seriously? Are you familiar with Cuba, Venezuela, and the USSR? Oh, and ask the Uighur Muslims about China. And ask them about Nike and their bullshit tactics in this country pushing leftist crap and supporting the downtrodden while they make billions off the enslavement of said Uighur Muslims who make their overpriced shoes.

LOL! So you hate liberty then? Because libertarianism is for small government because any time government does anything they take power away from individuals. Some of that is necessary but most of what is done in this country is not.

People claim they hate authoritarianism yet always despise things like libertarianism.
The only thing government can do is take assets from some, waste a portion in the process, then give said assets to others.
Yet this insanity continues...

Lol when this country was most libertarian, black folk were barely human beings. If not for the rise of socialist practices, this country would continue to be the racist trash can of a country it was intended to be. White men would barter between themselves and continue to lock out everyone else from humanity.
These are the facts....

Why not here? There was a very small federal government and states exercised much less power 100 years ago. And even 60 years ago though the growing behemoth was feeding at the income tax trough by then.
But hey, you tell me where it has failed. You can't because the closest thing to it was this country after the Constitution was freshly ratified.
I like liberty and anytime a government does ANYTHING it takes power and liberty from individuals. We have been trading our liberty for personal security and safety for decades and now we have a government that no longer answers to us and we can't do much about even through elections. And it is growing. And growing. And our liberties are shrinking, and if they pack the court it will be at warp speed.
