Aaron Wilson @RavensInsider 10m
If Ed Reed got hurt and goes on injured reserve, his split salary is $433,000 for rest of the year. Would make $25,470 per week on IR

Ed Reed's contract is for one-year, $940,000, so due $387,059 for remainder of season and $55,294 per game check

Rex will more than likely give Ed the freedom he is used to on D while with the Texans, he wasn't one of the main leaders and had to listen to them running the show. Now Brady has to watch out for #22.

Baltimore Ravens @Ravens 10m
Ed Reed said he'll probably get away from football for a little while after retirement. Then would be open to coaching in Baltimore.
Baltimore Ravens @Ravens 16m
Ed Reed said he hopes there's another warm welcome in Baltimore. Said he plans on spending a lot of time here post career.

I'm reading wilson's tweets - is this an interview going on? Place to watch it or see a transcript?

Yeah, but just because Ed wants to coach in Baltimore, doesn't mean Baltimore will hire him. Unless he's speaking of Baltimore as a whole and not just the Ravens. I think they would be more than willing to bring him in though.
Re: LOL - The real reason Ed Reed was cut?
I would love to see Ed Reed come here as a secondary coach.
Re: LOL - The real reason Ed Reed was cut?
Coaching a playing are completely different things. The NFL has an excellent program called the Bill Walsh Minority Coaching Fellowship. If Ed Reed really wants to get into coaching that's where he needs to start. It's not easy and those who can't get over the fact that they aren't stars anymore don't make it. From what I remember Ozzie Newsome was part of the very first class of this program when they began it. It had a different name back then but the concept was the same. Lovie Smith, Mike Tomlin and Marvin Lewis also went through this program.

Is it OK to offer a bounty when it’s for the football? If Ed Reed hears from the NFL, we’ll have our answer.
The former Ravens safety, headed to Baltimore on Sunday with the Jets for his second game this season as an opponent, was seen by the media on Thursday sporting a T-shirt that shows a picture of a football on a “wanted” poster. It reads: "Wanted: In the air or on the ground. $20,000."
"No, I'm not offering 20 grand for a turnover," Reed said, as reported by the Newark Star-Ledger. "It's a shirt."
@CSNbaltimore: Is Ed Reed offering 20 grand for a turnover? #RavensTalk
