I read somewhere can't remember who wrote it but they could see him going to coach at the naval academy for that very reason.

That would make a ton of sense. I would actually love to see that.

I do too. In fact, I think that's a challenge that excites him: PROVE that he can win without Brady.

I mean, this obviously. Belichick's dad was a coach. Belichick himself was a HC for several years before Tom Brady every came along.

Although, probably no more Triple Option. Though I should emphasize "probably".

Bill wants his legacy to consist of them chasing the name of the Lombardi trophy to the Belichick trophy.

How many more would it take? Say he wins 7 (not counting the two he has as a DC) would they change it?

And I personally think he can. I honestly don't think Brady would have become what he has without BB and his system. Would he have still been very good, certainly. But the GOAT, no. Don't forget, when Brady went out hurt, they still did pretty good with some worse QBs manning the helm.

I think this is true as well. Brady is the one obsessed with his legacy.

My concern is that if and when the Patriots go down the Steelers will dominate. I can't see anyone in the AFC matching them and that includes the Ravens. Perhaps things will look different in a year or two, we shall see.

That's because he knows he couldn't have done it with out Hoodie. Hoodie knows he could have done it with a number of Qbs. Bill could have done all this with Brees Manning Rodgers he also knows he could have kept this whole thing going with Jimmy G. I'm sure he knew what Jimmy G could be. What's he in New England with out Tom 14-6
That ain't so bad........
