Okay and your point is what? I am talking about a contract that the NFL signed up for with the Department of Defense. If you are getting paid to provide a service you provide that service or forfeit the pay because you failed to meet the terms of the contract. Technically the same goes for the players. I'd bet their contract does not say to impose their social opinions on the field. I'd bet it says something like play hard, play fast, and play to the best of your ability.
And to caveat the NFL never gave the players the option. So if they have an issue with standing and showing respect for the flag they should take it to their employer not the field. Just another double standard.

Btw, I wonder what that lying POS Michael Bennett wants to say about LV Metro now? They were freaking heroic last night, running into automatic gunfire to try and save people and then to stop the shooter.
That's the vast majority of cops for you. The idiots kneeling on NFL sidelines every week ought to take notice.

Bennett won't say anything, even if he wanted to his lawyer won't allow it.
Irony is that his silence will still speak volumes to those who are truly listening.
Problem is that among the vocal, on both sides of the aisle, there's hardly any doing so.

Truth. Lying always makes it worse. Pampered athletes are killing pro sports.
Steve Bisciotti Needs to Speak
In most countries the anthem is quite solemn. In the USA the musicians can rock out with electric guitars or any instrument they like and try to put their own spin on it. Hell you can place bets how long it will last in the super bowl
The ooooooo’s may be a Baltimore tradition and Kansas have their home of the Chiefs, anyone ever consider that isn’t quite 100% respectful?

A multitude of celebrities choosing to protest against a country that "oppresses people color"...on national television...or yelling "O" or "chief" during the playing of the anthem are 2 COMPLETELY different things.
I doubt that people are yelling "O" or "chief" in protest to the flag that thousands of people have died to defend.
This is the semantics part of politics that make politics annoyingly absurd.

This guy had me chuckling a bit till he got to the point about the hostess protesting at work. TO go on to say standing for the anthem is not a NFL players job to compare it to the hostess was not the point. The point is protesting at work. I get it's supposed to be funny but move on to something other than politics, it's enough already.

I get you, but just like everything else in the world, things are political. If you watch any type of comedy shows or talk shows, a lot of the comedy is going to be about Trump, so just like football: I just want to watch and enjoy it. He made me laugh, thought id share. That guy did a skit awhile back before Trump was elected, pretty funny, I don't have access to youtube on my work computer or id share that as well.
