Re: Free Agent & Other Player Moves from Around the NFL

lol I'm still trying to get over the amount of money Chicago just gave Bushrod. 17 million guaranteed?! You wonder why Ozzie doesn't go after free agent tackles. Damn. He's about as average as you can get.

I guess that's what Michael Oher is going to go after next year.

I would sign Huff as a FS if you can get him a good price.

Wow. Really? I'd bring in DHB for a look. Hell, if we lose Ed, bring in Huff to play Safety?

Hell, just throwing some spaghetti against the wall at this point.

I would absolutely be down for DHB. Caldwell would make good use of him. So would Flacco's punts

Uhhh...I would be all over Huff in a millisecond.

He is average at best against the run, but he is arguably one of the better coverage safeties in the NFL. He is also pretty durable from what I have seen.

I'm not interested in DHB. Incredible size/speed combo...terrible hands.

We said that about Jacoby last year too. Imagine how much speed you'd have? Torrey, Jacoby, DHB, Pitta in the slot, and Dickson at TE.

This is true, we did say this about Jacoby.

I don't know man. I watch a lot of Terps games and the only things I saw DHB do was run the 9 route or screens. Anytime he was thrown something other than that and it wasn't RIGHT to him, he had a tough time. The Oakland games I have caught didn't make me think any differently of the guy.

Revis to be traded to Bucs. Details just need to be worked out.

bah, who cares about all of that when you have Flacco throwing punt like throws.

Seriously though, at the right price, it could be a good fit. It would have to be cheap though.

DHB had 64 catches for 975 yards in 2011 and I think he only dropped a couple of passes. That was in Hue Jackson/Al Saunder's offense. He looked terrible when Jackson was canned and Greg Knapp took over, but pretty much every offensive player on the Raiders hated Knapp and he's already fired.

I would absolutely take a flyer on a vet minimum contract for Heyward-Bey, if the FO feels they can get the player he looked like he was becoming under Hue Jackson. He JUST turned 26 years old.

Oh, and DEFINITELY would take a flyer on Huff as well.

    Wow.

That is a GREAT move for Tampa Bay. They desperately needed a corner.

Glad to see a good player go to the other conference as well.
