Seriously though, at the right price, it could be a good fit. It would have to be cheap though.

I would absolutely take a flyer on a vet minimum contract for Heyward-Bey, if the FO feels they can get the player he looked like he was becoming under Hue Jackson. He JUST turned 26 years old.

Oh, and DEFINITELY would take a flyer on Huff as well.
If they want to go after DHB, then I'll be ok with it.

Torrey and DHB would easily be the fastest starting duo in the NFL.

    ugh so many bad reports

    Ian Rapoport ‏@RapSheet
Saw the report of a Revis to Bucs and a trade being worked out. Told that's not true at this point.

Not to mention both are former terps. That would be pretty cool.

Supposedly the Vikings offered Greg Jennings a contract averaging $11 mill per season.

Wonder if his comments will hold true about the QB being a factor?

That's way too much IMO if true.

Uhhh, yea...that is way too much for Jennings.

Maybe if he was 2-3 years younger.

Huff got beat like a rented mule when he was here.

I'd take him, but I don't think he is near the player his reputation is.
Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

Thats because he was playing corner against us. He was forced there because of injuries, remember?

    Sam Monson ‏@PFF_Sam
Michael Huff becomes a really interesting guy. Really progressed at CB after getting thrown in there. Capable deep FS + CB

Dolphins are very aggressive this year. Officially signed Wheeler to a 5 year $26 million deal. That LB core is going to look very different. Thumper in Ellerbe and coverage guy in Wheeler. Solid combo.

    True.

Still not sure what I'd be getting with him though.
