Re: Supreme Court decision on O'BUMMER CARE TODAY????
If Roberts writes the opinion and Ginsburg writes the dissent. Ginsburg won't be writing the dissent saying it should be shot down... never happen.

Re: Supreme Court decision on O'BUMMER CARE TODAY????
Neither side is going to be happy with this one, IMO.
Both sides will spin it as a win, but in the end it's going to create more problems than it solves.
Unless it's struck down completely (highly doubtful, IMO), this won't be the end of it.

Re: Supreme Court decision on O'BUMMER CARE TODAY????
Exactly, HR. This ain't won't be over. Former Atty Gen under
Reagan, Mease was just on and said if Romney wins it will be
repealed.
NC - I meant Ginsburgh will write the dissenting opinion to uphold
it.
Roberts could even punt and tell them to
shelve it and they will vote on it later. By then there will be a
new court with at least 1 maybe 2 conservative judges retiring.
If OBY is re-elected he can put in a liberal court.

Re: Supreme Court decision on O'BUMMER CARE TODAY????
I quoted his law professor as saying that he will uphold the law.
The general feeling is he's writing the majority to strike down the
mandate.

Re: Supreme Court decision on O'BUMMER CARE TODAY????
They just said if the mandate is thrown out and the rest stands, the insurance industry will go bankrupt. This is what we've been saying since the beginning. This is what OBY wants like destroying the
coal and oil industries.
If he's re-elected he will make the gov't the sole provider of health
care ala Gov't Motors.

Re: Supreme Court decision on O'BUMMER CARE TODAY????
Roberts is reading the decision now.
MANDATE THROWN OUT.
MANDATE THROWN OUT
MANDATE THROWN OUT

Re: Supreme Court decision on O'BUMMER CARE TODAY????
Now we're getting severability.
That means the rest of it. will it be upheld.
There are 4 points of severability.
