    Coping with Mile High

One of the major reasons Denver has such a great home field advantage of course is the altitude.

Anyone who has tried to exercise within 24 hours of landing in the Rockies will know what that means -- you usually have about 70% of your normal endurance, etc.

Wonder if having a Monday Night game will cause Billick and Co to treat this as a Sunday game -- e.g., go to Denver the day they would normally go for Sunday and allow an extra day for acclimatization. Think that would improve our chances of winning significantly.

    Question for Aaron this week/

I think we always play the Broncos well, especially in Denver. We would have beaten them in their house last year if Boller had not been so bumbling.

@Denver and at home against Carolina are very winnable games for us. Neither team has been impressive so far. We have a very, very good chance at going into the bye week at 6-0.

There are ways to combat the altitude change so that it doesn't affect you as much, which I'm sure the team knows about. I've been out to CO a couple of time recently and I'm getting ready to move there, and it seems to me that it affects everyone differently.

And before anyone asks -- NO! I WILL NOT BECOME A DENVER BRONCOS FAN! What do you think the NFL Sunday Ticket is for??

I think we'll see more Mike Anderson this week against Denver.

Anderson will certainly be ready to wreak havoc on his former team

Donks are favored by 4.5. But I see a Ravens win by 10 or more. Good point on the altitude. Even though I am in outstanding shape, I could feel the drag on my body as soon as I got off the plane at DIA today. But, in our case: the extra day of acclimation to the altitude will help. We have owned this team. Even the demoralized 6-10 team lost by just 2 points.
