I will boycott playoffs if the steelers make it. I kinda wanna see chargers if we don't make since they have the magic "formula" (eagles home opener, lose @ redskins)

Since our 0-4 start we have actually had more wins than the Ravens, some how, weeks 5 through 16. We have gone 7-4 while the Ravens have gone 6-5. If we manage to win next week, playoffs or not I like how my Steelers are looking going into next year. I'm not sure what adjustments our coaching staff made during the bye week but going from 0-4 to 8-4 is a good way to salvage a season.

That's some backward logic. We need two games to go our way to get in, Pitt needs 4. I don't care who's favored against whom, our odds are much better than theirs.

Actually, if the Ravens win next week they need 1 of 2 games (NYJ@MIA, KC@SD) to go their way; if they lose, they need 3 games to go their way (MIA & SD loss & PGH loss or tie). (If Miami loses the Jets will also be 8-8 with a better AFCE record, so the Fins get eliminated first, and Baltimore wins the 3-way tie with NYJ & SD by best AFC record.)

I wouldn't hold my breath though.

You had a 3rd place schedule and are under 500. Period. We had a 1st place schedule and are still in better position than you.

Hard to expect making the playoffs when you lose to the Bills and Browns in the same year. Win those 2 games and we would be talking about possibly winning the division. BTW combined RB rushing yards in those 2 loses--- 54.
