Ravens are 22-5 when Ray scores a rushing TD.

But you've seen flashes of Rice bouncing back into form, especially in the red zone. He reached the end zone twice Sunday, and if you needed another number favoring him, the Ravens are 22-5 when he scores a rushing touchdown.

Vinny said it! I heard'em say it!!!

    It is the truth!

Gino gazed at Rice as he was running down the field and Gino smite Rice with his all-powerful run blocking prowess and made Rice fumble worse than Rice has ever fumbled before!

How is it possible for Gino to cause Rice to fumble?

Folks, this is simple. You see, Gino comes from a long line of Delaware lineman who specialize in causing their own team mates to fumble without even touching them. Amazing? Absolutely. Believable? Trapsolutely.

    :

Over 1100 yards rushing last year with Birk blocking for him plus over 400 yds
receiving for 1500+ all purpose yards.

In the last 25 games (2012 & 2013), the Ravens have gone 8-3 when R2 rushed for a TD...and 9-5 when he did not. Not a major difference IMO.

The "rushing for TD" w/l numbers are skewed by 2011, when Rice rushed for a TD in 8 games & the Ravens won all of them, going 5-5 when he did not.

So...what you're saying is that it was Birk's fault he fumbled so much last year in the playoffs!

Damn that Matt Birk...he and his Harvard voodoo fumble magic...

so Rice is injured, plus he is slowing down, plus he has to deal with karma from offensive linemen. damn get rid of him!

Can we hire someone that will help deal with these bad karma issues?

Not karma man...Delaware Fightin' Blue Hen voodoo.

Birk must have gave Gino some insight on how to get Rice to fumble without even touching him.

It's a combination of the two. Rice hasn't looked the same all season. Rice has traditionally struggled in the playoffs, with one two 100 yard games. That's usually when the defenses smoother him and he tries too hard, leading to too many cuts and fumbles.

This year, the ground is tackling him more than anybody.

Article by Hensely is good: http://espn.go.com/blog/baltimore-ra...usive-ray-rice

I thought it's pretty on point. Hard to defend Rice at this stage. Him and Joe have gotten spotty protection (both in run and pass pro), but we've seen Joe be able to shine when he's given consistent protection. Not so much Ray.

Re: Ray Rice - slowing down? Or still injured?

I thinks it's more the injury than slowing down. He has had a drop off anyway but it's not as bad as it seems. I hated his contract cause he'll never play those 5 years out. But he's still got another year or maybe 2 at this level. I've said it for years he has more success out of a single ack set. The Ravens want to go to more of a passing offense and running a lot of 3 wide. I really don't understand their philosophy.
