Re: More 'Inside' Information from Preston

I sure hope Preston gets back on his meds soon. Or at least gets better LSD.

I think Mayock said he could see the top Ts going 1 2 3, or some form of top 4. i feel like i just wasted a little under a minute of my life reading that. I want it back.

Let's hope this is just Preston being Preston. It would cost waaay too much for Johnson. Hopefully we just stay pat.

Oz will stay put and wait for Cyprien or Elam to fall and if they don't he'll trade down for
    even more picks.

To trade up in the first for Austin or one of LTs will cost him either a #1 or #2 and a #3.
Ozzie's extra picks are from the 4th to the 6th rounds.

He'll never trade a #2 for one of these guys. He can trade down for more picks and
then trade back up with those extra picks in the 3rd round like he did for Bernard
Pierce last year and he got Pitta and Dickson trading down with the picks he got
from Denver who took, um, Tebow.

Oz swung big and missed with Kindle but still came out of that draft with Pitta, Dickson, and
Art Jones - all SB 47 heroes.

Even if we gave up pick 32, 62, and 94, would that be enough to move up to pick #4 to draft Johnson? Not so sure on that one. Don't be shocked if none of the trio of Johnson, Joekel, and Fisher make it to pick #5.

This would be nonsensical IMO because I'm not sure Johnson is that much better than Osemele as a LT. I know Johnson projects as a better NFL LT, but as collegiate players, they were equals.

I still think if we trade up it's going to be in the teens, and it'd be for Tavon, Vaccaro, or one of the good defensive tackle prospects (Ngata's injury history is concerning, they might want someone to help his snap count).

I think they're confident they can re-sign McKinnie. If not, there's still guys out on the market. I don't see them going high for a LT.
