Although Walsh's system of offense can compensate for lack of talent; however, defense is a different story. According to Walsh, talent on defense was essential and could not be compensated for. What did Walsh do in 1981? He acquired physical and talented players on defense.

    Lebron has been absolutely awful.

Guess we'll be hearing a summer full of Lebron getting botch slapped by the media.

He deserves it for his play during these finals BTW.

Miami isn't going to win with Lebron playing like this. These are the quietest 9 points I can remember, can anyone remember one shot he made?

    A jumper

But it's the indecision when he can't drive. San is playing off forcing hi to pass, he wants to be aggressive but since they are playing off, he is trying to figure out what to do and doubting his shot. Same with Wade.

The book on defending LeBron is being written this series.

Force him outside the paint, make him take jumpers and he's not himself.

Yea, I'm no Lebron hater, but it's all too easy to be critical of his play this series. He's seemed so tentative. I guess credit the Spurs to a degree for good defense, but the best player in the NBA needs to rise above and still make his mark with confidence.

I hope Duncan adds another 15+ and walks off into the sunset with a 5th championship tonight. He's been unstoppable. I wonder if he's had an easier time because of the Heat focusing more on denying the 3 from Green. Leonard has been a beast as well.
