I've had it several times. I remember the Amber Sun and Old Court. Neither seemed too hoppy to me. I don't believe I have had their IPA though...
Everybody's talkin' at me; I don't hear a word they're saying; Only the echoes of my mind

I'm going where the sun keeps shining; Thru' the pouring rain; Going where the weather suits my clothes

Banking off of the North East winds; Sailing on a summer breeze; And skipping over the ocean like a stone

Of course! Runs about 80$ a case. Matter of fact I even had it from the source out in Escondido, CA. Hell of a tour, awesome folks, hung out with the owner when he came to DC to my friends bar.

Stone Brewery is on it's way to being the Sam's Adams of the West.

If you ever visit it's called Bulmers.
Just there is a UK company who own the worldwide rights to Bulmers so the Irish Bulmers call their export Magners

I'd prefer Murphy's Stout to Guinness, it's a bit lighter

I've never been to the USA (will be in M&T some day) and am surprised you have all these Irish drinks in Maryland

As I understand the Germans have laws that are hundreds of years old to regulate beers.
To be called a German beer you have to meet their purity standards

I was in Ireland in 2009 to see U2. I had no idea that when I ordered a Magners, I was drinking Bulmers all this time.

The prevailing thought in the states is that cider is a girly drink. I had that misconception before coming to the island. I was hooked after my trip. Magners Pear is particularly good on a hot Houston day, chased with a Powers of course.
