Cool Two UK NFL matches in 2010!!

Announced on SKY's NFL prog last night - so no-one was watching

:uk:There are two NFL matched to be scheduled in the UK in 2010. The teams are due to be announced in January - probably during the Super Bowl week.:uk:

There are both 'likely' to be in London :(

I say there is a 99.9% chance an AFCN team is there this time around.

5Live apparently reported last night (unofficially I hasten to add) that the two home teams will be the Ravens & the 49ers.

If this is the case the UKR's need to step up and grow some! :T2:

We would have a lot of work to do - and I'd like to know who is on board for the journey and who has given up?

Has everyone registered their interest in tickets with NFL UK ????

Guys, put in for a few - even if you don't need all of them - we need to make sure we are at least covered for for ourselves.

Both me and Katie registered for tickets and were successful according to an email we got yesterday. Both requested the maximum so we'll see what we get come the announcements.

Be aware that there is still a possibility of a second game according to Sky coverage last night.

Be also aware that some people are speculatively booking hotel rooms for w/e 26/9.

I did notice that one hotel 3 miles from Wembley is completely booked for that date?

UPDATE: I altered my search criteria - there are two fully booked hotels in that area for the same weekend - one is the four star Hilton.

After hearing the Kirkwood interview on Sunday I can;t see there being two games. He seems a bit of a chancer to me.

I would love to be proved wrong.
