As expected, Ravens' depth chart lists Jameel McClain at Ray Lewis' middle linebacker and Dannell Ellerbe at weakside inside starter

I'm actually excited to see how this LB corps will do without Ray. They did pretty well last year without him.

Upshaw, McClellan, Ellerbe, McClain - a youthful LB corps.

That's the PR depth chart, not Harbaugh's....

That said, it was pretty obvious that Ellerbe would get first crack at being "The Other Starter" at ILB. Ray's spot is occupied by McClain, and Ellerbe plays McClain's spot.

Call me a Special Teams coach again. I dare you! I double dare you, MFer!

That depth chart is from the team.

Ray's position filled by a UDFA who played DE in college. Unsettling.

Oz is either a genius or something else entirely. Hoping we get a game-changer stud LB in the draft.

With Suggs, JJ, and a functional DL.

Why has nobody contacted EJ Henderson?

Hes a FA MLB who had 100+ tackles, 2 Sacks, 3 FF last year.

Is it possible that they have but they haven't announced/leaked it yet?

The real question, as asked, is "why has nobody" contacted him, not just the Ravens. Or maybe teams did, and his price was too high, or he wants to take a year off to travel or write a book.

When Ray was out for the Thanksgiving game last year they had to start McClellan (his first start) in Ray's MLB position. Though the 9ers weren't exactly offensive juggernauts, they could run the ball effectively and Frank Gore is one of the better backs in the league. With a make-shift LB corps, the Ravens held Gore to 39 yards on 14 carries.

I think we see the Ravens D get better, especially at stopping the run starting this Sunday.

I agree. I think Foster doesn't go over 100 Sunday. Call me crazy, but I think this team will have something to prove.
